MTA Caves: Ground Zero Bus Campaign Will Run
The MTA has recognized the justice of our position in our lawsuit, and has agreed to run our ad as originally submitted. This is a great victory for freedom of speech, and we are grateful to our attorneys David Yerushalmi and Robert Muise for mounting such an effective defense against politically correct censorship.

Today, the MTA caved and the original ad will run. Not the revised images, the true image.
NEW YORK (WPIX) – A group opposed to the idea of a mosque being constructed near Ground Zero has filed a lawsuit against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority after the transit agency refused to run an ad that featured a mosque along with an image of the World Trade terror attacks.
Human rights organization American Freedom Defense Initiative and Stop Islamization of America hoped to run the ad on city’s buses, however the organization claims the MTA requested too many changes, which violated its freedom of speech.
The initial ad reportedly showed a plane slamming into the Twin Towers and a rendering of the “WTC Mega Mosque” with the words, “WHY THERE?”
Pamela Geller, executive director of Stop Islamization of America and the American Freedom Defense Initiative,said the MTA requested several changes to the ad through its advertising company, CBS Outdoor, after Geller reportedly signed a contract and shelled out $9,5000 for the ad last month.
Geller said she made the requested changes but grew irritated after CBS Outdoor said the MTA refused to show a connection between 9/11 and the proposed Ground Zero mosque. In addition, CBS Outdoor said the MTA thought the ad was too controversial.
The MTA claimed that it refused to feature the ads because it contained a “9/11 image,” specifically “a plane,” and associated the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque slated to be built at Ground Zero with the September 11, 2001 jihad terror attacks.

It appears to me that MTA is out of control, they will not allow a picture of a factual event in history to be depicted on a bus ad? I don’t even live there, and I am outraged that they want to build this mosque next to Ground Zero, it should never be built there and if the Muslim Community wanted to build fences, they should withdraw their plan and build somewhere else, to ease the tension.
They are just trying to “dig in” and this is not right.

Thanks MTA! Finally a backbone somewhere to stand up against these terrorists. Anyone who thinks this mosque is not a tribute to the muslim “conquest” is foolish. No mosque! Ground Zero is forever to be a monument to those American citizens that were slaughtered by our enemy. Never forget those innocent victims and our heroic first responders!

Spain is also against Islam. Islam is hate and terror.
I have no problem with diversity, or the Islamic religion. I got to learn the truths and lies about it while on tour in Iraq. I do however have a problem with making allowences for them to build a mega mosque in ground zero. Its the same thing as printing everything in english/spanish on our consumables. This is AMERICA people! We need to cater to AMERICANS and then anyone else who wants a piece of the pie needs to learn our ways, (mourning over our loved ones who died and respecting their peace)or find a way of integrating that doesnt interfere. I wish it was the early 80′s again, lol.

Anyway, my father had an office in 1 WTC on the 17th floor for many years up until his heart attack in 1987..
I hope all the companies, I used to drop and pick up paperwork from, especially ‘Export Messenger’ survived. Export Messenger
was located on B-level 2, in 2 WTC.
A ‘maintenance worker’ being interviewed on video claimed that he heard an explosion coming from the lower levels of 2 WTC just before the first plane hit- 1 WTC
Maybe someone had an export ‘messenger’ pick up a package of a bomb the night before- to be delivered to a company after 9 AM on 9-11.
I hope it didn’t happened, but I can’t help wonder..

I live near Carl Shurz Park in NYC, home of the mayor’s mansion. In recent weeks, a huge group of muslim men have taken up a big space at the park. They are served tea and food as they sit there listening to their imam. They lay down immense rugs and pillows and act like they are in amosque. We all stare–we don’t like this at all. this is how the conquest starts. If we complain, we are the bigots.

Why not demand that the islamic mosque builders instead of building a worship place to islam/islamism in Ground Zero instead use the money to pay the costs for the people who helped there after the islamist attack and who now are denied economic help from the US state for their health problems after their heroic actions?

Muslims have no problem understanding what building a mosque “there” means–it’s a symbol of their success, their trophy, their victory over US. It is what they did at Cordoba, Spain which the bldg is named for–they built a mosque as a memorial of their slaughter & conquest. They lie about being peaceful & tolerant–isn’t that obvious to everyone by now? They laugh at us behind our backs that we are trying to be so politically correct, “tolerant” & wimpy. Your ad up there already drew me to this site. I saw it online, but putting it on the bus is probably a good idea. Public transit can be useful not only for transportation but for advertising purposes.
Ground Zero is not only a hallowed site but a transportation hub, and it has been a hub for more than a century, since the Hudson Tubes first ran there. Building it back up as a transit hub is an excellent way to ensure that the bad guys lose.

Anyone who embraces Islam is a bigot. It is a requirement of Islamic theology. The Ground Zero Mosque is an obscenity and a monument to Islamic intolerance.
If Muslims what to build bridges and interaction between groups, let them start at their home first. Why go halfway round the world. They are the ones who got the walls of division put up. Charity begins at home. Do so!
