Please join SIOA and FDI in our solemn protest against the 911 mega mosque at Ground Zero on September the 11th in the afternoon, after the memorial services — exact time and date to be determined.
World leaders, prominent politicians and 911 family members will be speaking. This is a solemn protest. Please, no inflammatory signs. “Ground Zero is sacred ground.” “Ground Zero is a war Memorial.” “Ground Zero Mosque is Radically Insensitive.”
We will begin with interfaith prayer and the playing of “Taps” for the 911 victims.
Please mark your calenders. Come to NYC on September 11th and then pack up and go to DC for the 912 rally.
If you feel this mosque is an insult, a stab in the eye to those Americans who lost their lives in the largest attack on American soil in history, now is the time.
For those looking for rides to the protest or from the Ground Zero protest to the 912 rally in DC on Sunday, p;ease connect in the comment section. If you prefer you can catch the train to DC from Penn Station in NY. It is very easy.
Also, if you are in Manhattan tomorrow evening, please come to the next Community Board 1 meeting concerning the Ground Zero mosque site at 6:00 PM at Dance New Amsterdam, 280 Broadway, 2nd Floor (entrance on Chambers and Elk Streets). We need to be there.

You can catch the train to DC from Penn Station. The subway ride from Penn to World Trade is 10-15 minutes tops. Take the A Train. Get off at World Trade/Chambers.

1- In my openion build a mosque in that area is, in Muslims opinion, the win against the west in genereal and against the christianity .
2- Most of American people who defence of Islam don’t know the real islam. We know it very well, Believe me its too bad, more than you can imagine. For example : if they translate the Kuraan to , let say English, they don’t translate it as it. there are many times the word ( KILL OTHERES ) has written but they translate it to another nice word like , push them, don’t talk to them, and things like that ….
I have a lot of things about them because I can read Arabic and I lived with them for 30 years before I leave them and live now in the USA. Maybe later I can write more and more but I need some time to improve my english..

I strongly support the 9/11 protest. I have been observing american daughters and sons died in batlefields across the world to bring liberty to human kind. All muslims may not be willing to fly an airplane into a building but they are all terrorists because they dont stand out against it.
I do not live in NYC but I AM an American. I feel very strongly against the building of this mosque. The site they are thinking about should be held in honor and memory of those who died there, NOT a site that represents the ones who murdered them. People from all over the world died on 9/11. I would think anyone who had a loved one that died there wouldn’t tolerate the building of this mosque on the site where they are wanting to build it. For anyone to even think about building this masque ANYWHERE near where so many innocent people died is a disgrace.
I also feel that this masque would be a slap in the face to all our brave soldiers who have fought and died for our country during this war. Both my son and nephew went to fight in Iraq and Afganistan after 9/11.

I would love to be there, but I live in Southern California and cannot afford to go. I would like the organizers of this movement to reach out to the labor unions. I have been to New York in the past at some trade shows. Nothing gets built without the unions being involved. The Teamsters should be the driving force behind this structure not being built. I doubt the muslims would be able to construct this without union support. And being a retired Teamster, I cannot think of one member who would set foot on that site. God Bless our Country!

And Muslims keep telling us to look at the statutes… en NOT to the house-rules!!
While the house-rules are móre of importance than the statutes!
They keep also telling everybody that only Allah can make people dó evil…. en subsequently condemns the evil-doer…
How unfair.. and stupid!
I must say that one of the benefits of living in the States is freedom of religion. However, I do not believe it is okay to disrespect the fallen by placing a mosque in that location. I also feel it is even more disrespectful to open thier new building on the anniversary date of 9/11. I don’t understand why the govenor would even consider such a thing! It must be stopped!!!!
Our country is going to hell in a hand basket because everyone feels the need to be politically correct. There are so many things that are wrong with this picture! Come on America, and remember why we are proud to be American! Step up and fight this injustice! If we don’t stop this type of thing from happening now, our children’s future is bleak. We need to remind everyone why our country is considered one of the most powerful! Let’s lay down the law and send them packing!!!! You have my full support, let me know where to sign the petition and how to get the West Coast States involved!!!

Whilst I think that not every Muslim should be tarred with the same brush, I lost my best friend in the 9/11 attacks and this idea is an absolute disgrace. How can anyone have agreed to this. It should have been canned at the first opportunity.
It can be built anywhere else, not on that sacred ground. I don’t want to go and pay my respects and have to look at that.

Our politicians are concerned that there be no violation to freedom of religion, so they think the honorable thing is to support the building of the mosque. However, to us, religion in the most general sense infers the idea of groups of whatever ideology that are dedicated to helping others. Islam does not appear to meet that criteria, and an investigation should be undertaken to determine if Islam should be excluded from our constitution’s definition of Religion to be protected. Consider how much space is given in their guide book to instructing followers as to who they are,or are not OBLIGATED to kill. (In contrast, Jesus said, “The thief comes for no other reason than to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come that they might have LIFE, and that they might have it MORE ABUNDANTLY!”) (Side note:there is also much in Christianity that has forgotten this. Jesus came to restore HUMANITY to God, not create a religion.)

politicians beleive in equal opportunities for all. In my opinion, the equal opportunity right should only be given to those who believe in it. Muslim do not believe in equality, so why giving them this right. US immigration giving more visas to muslims than christians. I believ that US immigration should stop giving visas to Muslims for the next 20 years, just to test how Muslims are going to behave in America. I am christian from the middle east and I know very well how Muslims thinks. the most dangerous Muslims are the Arab Muslims. I have Muslim friends that are good people, but I think with some brain wash and leteral application of the Quran, they can convert to monster in a blink of an eye like what happen with major doctor Nidhal who killed many American soldiers and gained the status of Martyr and supposedly he is enjoying his 72 virgins in heaven!!! so wake up America. wake up my muslim brothers and give up Islam. I can’t believe Obama supports this, he obviously has no respect for the american people he needs to be impeached,this is an out rage! If anything should be built at ground zero it should be a tribute to those who lost there lives there and to our soldiers who are fighting to keep our freedom unlike obama who seems to be fighting against it, I am ashamed I helped vote this man in to office I was hoping for a change for the better but he wants to help the muslums take over our country and he wants to take our civil rights away and insult us by allowing this masque to stand in place of our loved ones memories he definately will not get my vote again ever he needs to be impeached before the muslums take over the united states and we are forced to attend there masque,those in the white house do you not see that after this happens you will no longer be needed your being told what you want to hear now so you’ll play along but in the long run you will loose too!
