The human rights group Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) is hosting a rally at Ground Zero to protest the construction of a mosque at the site of the Islamic terror attack that brought down the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. SIOA is one of America’s foremost organizations defending human rights, religious liberty, and the freedom of speech against Islamic supremacist intimidation and attempts to bring elements of Sharia to the United States.

The SIOA No 9/11 Mosque Rally will be at Ground Zero on June 6 at 12 noon. Supporting groups (partial list): ACT for America (ACT Manhattan chapter); Z Street; Freedom Defense Initiative; No Mosque at Ground Zero; Faith Freedom International; American Bulldogs; VAST; the Center for Security Policy; Shalom International; the Unity Coalition for Israel; and Veterans Against Jihad (VAJ).
SIOA executive director Pamela Geller commented: “What could be more insulting and humiliating than a monster mosque in the shadow of the World Trade Center buildings that were brought down by an Islamic jihad attack? Any decent American, Muslim or otherwise, wouldn’t dream of such an insult. It’s a stab in eye of America.â€
“We chose June 6 as the rally date,†Geller explained, “because it’s D-Day. In 1944, Americans acted against the evil of Nazism. Now it is time for Americans to stand up against the evil of Islamic jihad terrorism and Islamic supremacism.â€
Said Geller: “The only Muslim center that should be built in the shadow of the World Trade Center is one that is devoted to expunging the Koran and all Islamic teachings of the violent jihad that they prescribe, as well as all hateful texts and incitement to violence.â€
Speakers at the No 9/11 Mosque will include Nonie Darwish, ex-Muslim and author of Now They Call Me Infidel; Simon Deng, the Sudanese ex-slave and campaigner for human rights for Sudanese Christians; James Lafferty of the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force; and Anders Gravers of Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE). Hosting the event are Geller, the popular blogger and columnist who publishes the acclaimed AtlasShrugs.com blog, and SIOA associate director Robert Spencer, the bestselling author and director of JihadWatch.org. Geller is the author (with Spencer) of The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America (Foreword by Ambassador John Bolton), coming July 27 from Simon & Schuster.
As a manifestation of Islamic domination and expansionism, mosques have frequently been placed on the sites of the holy places of other religions. The Al-Aqsa Mosque, built on top of the Temple of the Jewish people, which is located in Jerusalem, is the most famous example. Many famous churches have been turned into mosques, including the Aya Sofya Mosque in Istanbul, which until the Islamic conquest of Constantinople of 1453 was the grandest church in Christendom. The Umayyad Mosque in Damascus was, before the Islamic conquest, the Church of St. John the Baptist. Historian Sita Ram Goel has estimated that over two thousand mosques in India were built on the sites of Hindu temples.
Rally speakers and participants will stand with those who lost loved ones on 9/11, and call for an end to plans for this mosque that insults the memory of those who died on that day.
Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf has blamed the West, rather than Islamic jihadists, for terrorism on several occasions. He has said, according to Australia’s Sun-Herald, that “the US and the West must acknowledge the harm they have done to Muslims before terrorism can end.†On another occasion he said that “Western active involvement in shaping the internal affairs of Islamic societies have contributed to the creation of terrorism done in the name of Islam.â€
Abdul Rauf has also called Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams’ endorsement of the implementation of Sharia courts in Britain “forward thinking†– despite Sharia’s denial of basic freedoms including the freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and equality of rights of all people before the law.

Building a mosque at the 911 site would be the greatest insult to the families of the victims of the twin towers distruction. Also an insult to Americans who are not Muslims. Somehow the plans of Iman Feisal Abdul Rauf MUST BE STOPPED.

90 Christian people have been expelled from Morocco since the beginning of 2010. Just because they were christian. Accused of proselytism. They even expelled a franciscan father in Larache, northern morocco, in March 2010.
At the same time, the E.U. signed a very important act, promoting Morocco as an associated country to the E.U. and granting them millions of Euros.
Nobody talks about the situation of christians in the Maghreb, and all arab countries all other the world. Not to mention what is going on in Sudan, Egypt, etc….

The most important thing in all the debates is the simple truth: the expansion of Islam is not about Religion. It is nothing related to the vision of God or any spiritual conceptions. It is about the Culture and the way of living. The mid–arabic way. There is no other model of the Islamic moral and “culture” but the ultimate model, formulated by Mohammed, 14 centuries ago. And the mosques are there to pull cultures and civilizations back to 6th Century, where there was no Human Right, no women rights, no Human Life value. Any value.
Ask Yourself – do You want to live in Yemen? Cause Yemen will become a way of living around You. And not even a today Yemen. Dark and bloody Yemen, Egypt, Damascus of 6-th Century. This is what Islam about. This is what they need the spreading mosques around the globe. They need their order.

Please plan more rallies please. We must stop this devastation of America by islam. Someone at the rally said that islam is not a religion but a political movement and I agree. I cannot believe how any New Yorker would be apathetic to the same people to build a tower to their God despite killing nearly 3,000 people nine years ago.

Our leaders are deliberately trying to destroy the West. Why? I do not know but there’s no other explanation for the madness that has overtaken the us and Europe.
Everyone, I have a small suggestion. SIOA is not known to many people yet in America. We need some efforts from all to spread the word. I have started posting a one or two lines evryday in CNN.com news articles which are related to terror or other problems in the world. These are posted immediately and read by thousands online. This can definately help in spreading the awareness about SIOA and bring more support. Please note CNN software does not allow the web links in the message so you can ask people to google for “Stop Islamization of America”. In our nation, we are moving towards the full oppression of our own people. Censorship, pharmaceutical warfare, patriot games with our children and our families, our highways, etc… We can turn back and hold border patrols to keep out our neighbors, and yet, we are willing to slap our own faces to allow this sacriledge to occur on very raw and sensitive soil.

well personally as a Muslim a don’t support building any Islamic center particularly at the controversial grand zero for number of good reason. firstly is the resting place of all the poor souls that have not been identified ,secondly majority of Muslims world still believe that 911 is an inside job so as the family of the victims as well as majority of Americans . what makes them think they can trust the american government by supporting the building?. an Islamic center its not really the only way to improve Muslims and non Muslims relationship. considering the fact that Islam its the fastest growing religion in the west and insha’allah it will dominate not only in the west but all over as mention in the holy quran without bullets and bombs. what all Muslims want its the american and their allies to withdraw all their troops in our land and as well as palastine .this is first step to improve any relationship
